Valmorel
Valmorel, one of the prettiest Alpine resorts, is situated near the Vanoise, Lauzière and Beaufortain mountain ranges.
Its architecture, in complete harmony with its environment, is a perfect example of a coherent integration into a natural setting.
The slate covered roofs surrounded by pine trees, the facades painted with trompe-l'œil frescos and the pedestrian hamlets nestling into the mountain side create a visible intricacy around the shopping pedestrian street.
Valmorel, a resort full of charm, is at the heart of a system of 150km of paths winding their way through the Aigueblanche valleys, giving access to walks and treks from which to discover the mountain patrimony and the surrounding mountain peaks.
Most of these itineraries are accessible on MTB and are linked by ski lifts.
