Unaccompanied donkey hire allows you to discover the donkey, a fabulous travelling companion, at your own pace on a variety of marked routes.
What a wonderful idea to go hiking with a donkey to help children discover the pleasure of walking. At the rhythm of its steps, take the time to discover the Valmorel Valley and its preserved nature. Don't panic, it's very easy for everyone!
Discovery hike :
Walk on a very easy path, from Valmorel to l'Empyrée and back.
Duration: up to 1h30, departure at 9h30 in the morning and 15h30 in the afternoon.
Half day hike :
A short and easy hike that allows you to access the Plan Parc plateau and its majestic view of the Lauzière Massif and to make a loop through the Ormay. Alternating meadows and shaded areas in the forest.
Duration: about 3 hours, departure at 9.15 am for a return around 12.15 pm
Day hike :
A day that you can easily envisage with your family thanks to the donkey who will carry your belongings and motivate your children... with a picnic in the donkey's saddlebags. You will walk through the wild corners of Valmorel to the Bachals and Pierre Larron refuge.
Duration: departure at 9.15am in the morning and return around 3pm - 4pm in the afternoon.
