I’m staying in Valmorel or Doucy resorts, where can I get tested?

You can get tested in Valmorel, at the drugstore Pharmacie du Soleil, by prior appointment only. Starting on December the 18, from 9am to 7.30pm. You will be charged between 25 and 30€ for an antigen test for unvaccinated people.

Appointments are made primarily via the doctolib.fr platform. In case of symptoms, if you cannot find an appointment on doctolib.fr, contact the Pharmacie du Soleil, from 9am to 6.30pm on weekdays, and from 9am to 7.30pm at weekends on +33(0)4 79 09 81 37.

At the Valmorel Medical Center (Ground floor of the building “La tour” at the end of the pedestrian street), you can also get tested, only if you have any symptoms related to Covid-19 (from December 18).

Finally, PCR tests can only be done at the Synlab laboratory in Moûtiers.

Do you have a vaccination center on site?

Medical center doctors will administer vaccines (Pfizer Biotech) from December the 18: you can get an appointment from this date.

Is the health/vaccination pass required everywhere in the resort?

Since March 14, the “vaccination pass” has been suspended until further notice in all places where it was required (leisure and cultural venues, commercial catering activities, trade fairs and exhibitions, etc.).

Do we have to wear a mask everywhere in the resort?

Masks are no longer required to be worn from March 14, 2022.

I’m a foreigner tourist, what about going to France or restrictions?

Situation is continuously evolving, we highly recommend to check up to date information on the government website .

Since February 12, 2022, the following rules apply at the borders:

• For travellers who have been vaccinated according to European regulations, no more tests are required at departure. Proof of a complete vaccination schedule is once again sufficient to arrive in France, regardless of the country of origin, as was the case before the spread of the Omicron variant.
• For unvaccinated travellers, the obligation to present a negative test to travel to France remains, but the measures on arrival (test, isolation) are lifted when they come from countries on the “green” list, characterised by moderate circulation of the virus.
• When unvaccinated travellers come from a country on the “orange” list, they must continue to present a compelling reason justifying the need to come to metropolitan France and may still be subject to random testing on arrival. Travellers who test positive should isolate themselves, in accordance with the recommendations of the Health Insurance.

Many QR-codes have been set up all over the resort, to make it easier to have access to up to date information you could need during your stay. Covid-free neck warmers and reusable masks are sold in our offices (Valmorel and Doucy).
