itinéraires nordiques Doucy

Nâves Nordic Area

Backing onto the Beaufortain mountain range, the Nâves valley is one of those few havens of peace and tranquillity that still remain in the heart of the Alps.  Here, mountain pastures, forests, streams and the sound of nature all shape the landscape and create the atmosphere.

Accessible by shuttle bus from the village of Grand-Naves, the Tovet plateau opens onto more than 40 km of marked-out cross-country ski tracks that are maintained daily.

The Bozon slope gives access to the Carrolet loop (2085m altitude) which allows you to ski on the highest slope in Savoie, with a magnificent panorama of the Vanoise, Lauzière and Beaufortain mountain ranges.

Ski passes are on sale at the Maison de la Montagne, in the village of Grand-Nâves.

The start of the pistes is located 5km higher up, at the Plateau du Tovet where you will find:

  • a beautiful heated and well-equipped picnic room: sofas, high tables, toilets, access to drinking water.
  • lockers in which to store your belongings safely.
  • picnic tables, deckchairs.
  • a magnificent welcome arch displaying all the piste maps and snow conditions.

Access by free shuttle bus at weekends and during French school holidays
