7th edition of Pussy's KV

The Kilomètre Vertical de Pussy is a race in which competitors must climb 1120m of positive altitude difference. The race takes place on a marked course between the heart of the village of Pussy (start at 720m altitude) and the Col de l'Arc refuge (finish at 1840m altitude). The race is limited to 250 participants.

The Kilomètre Vertical de Pussy is a mountain race, dry ascent, with a distance of 5.3 km and 1120m of positive difference in altitude.

The maximum time limit for the race is 2h30.

The return to the village is on foot, taking the uphill route and taking care not to disturb the last competitors still running. If you take a different route for your descent, the organisation will not be able to ensure your safety.

The organisation of the KV de Pussy reserves the right to change the course or the timetable of the event at any time, in order to allow participants to run in complete safety, particularly in the event of difficult weather conditions. The organisation also reserves the right to cancel the event in the event of force majeure or for any other reason that would put the runner's life in danger; in this case, no reimbursement can be requested.

The KV de Pussy is the first stage of the KV des Vallées d'Aigueblanche challenge, followed by the KV de Crève Tête (Mad'Trail) on July 15th and the Pelton 1000 (EDF Trail) on October 7th.
