A day hike where we will go to the blue lake for a picnic. A high altitude lake with blue reflections that will not leave you indifferent.
We will take the chairlift to go up to the top of the col de la Madeleine and into the Maurienne valley. We will then start to take small paths and evolve off-piste to reach the blue lake and have a picnic there at lunchtime.
If you are lucky, you will be able to see mamottes walking around and enjoy the blue lake at lunchtime. You will also find yourself at the foot of the magnificent Cheval Noir, the highest point of the Valmorel valley.
