Refuge Le Nant du Beurre

Presentation

The refuge opened in December 2012. Located at an altitude of 2,080 meters, on a magnificent and wild site in the Beaufortain massif.

Located on an open and sunny valley, it offers an exceptional view of the other massifs: Lauzière, Cheval Noir, Vanoise, further afield, Meije, Ecrins ... These sunsets over Lauzière remain a great gift! Wild and peaceful place that invites you to contemplation.
In winter you can come by cross-country skiing (the refuge is located on the Nordic area of ​​Grand Naves 73260), snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, dog sledding.

The refuge offers a capacity of 38 places divided into 4 dormitories of 6 places, 2 of 5 places and 2 of 2 places.

Catering, half-board, overnight stay, picnic room.

Outside the opening periods (guarded refuge) contact Pascale to collect the keys to the winter refuge which is next to the new one.

Activities during the Rhône Alpes February holidays: 3 astronomy evenings.
