Discover the whole valley at your own pace via the Grand Tour de Tarentaise, from two days to several weeks, according to your own plans and the different sectors: Beaufortain/Mont Blanc, Haute Tarentaise, Around La Plagne, Vanoise, Three Valleys, Lauzière.

Sectors :
- Beaufortain / Mont-Blanc: 4 to 5 days, approximately 4,400 meters of ascending elevation.
- Haute Tarentaise: 4 to 6 days, approximately 3,400m of ascending elevation.
- Around La Plagne: 4 days, about 3,400m of ascending elevation.
- Vanoise: 4 to 6 days, approximately 3,600m of ascending elevation.
- Three Valleys: 4 to 5 days, approximately 2,400m of ascending elevation.
- Lauzière: 3 to 4 days, approximately 1,600m of ascending elevation.

Additional Information

Adapted to people who already had their first mountain hiking experience.

During summer, 18 places (Coire), and 22 (Cormet) and a specific room for the pic-nic. During winter 14 places in the shelter "La Coire". A room for the pic-nic with a gas cooker, a woodburner, and all the dishes needed.

The refuge is located in the Belleville valley, in a small unspoilt valley at an altitude of 2035 m, on the edge of a lake. Johnathan, Marie and their team welcome you in a friendly atmosphere and serve quality 100% organic and/or local cuisine.

Located in the valley of the Petite Sassière, the refuge is guarded in spring and summer. The rest of the year the refuge is open but there is no surveillance. On-site catering during the opening period: fresh and local produce.

The refuge is guarded from 20/06 to 15/09/2020. Caretaking's end date to be confirmed. In the heart of the Vanoise national park, the guardian welcomes you in an old sheepfold rehabilitated in 1985. Just above the refuge, is the dry lake of La Glière. A lot of marmots. Country lunch, traditional lunch and dinner.

At the foot of the Pierra Menta in the Ormente valley, the refuge is one of the stages on the GR5, situated on the Tour du Beaufortain variant. There is no refuge keeper in winter but there is a dormitory room sleeping 18 people.
